90/10 Copper Nickel Union Tailpieces are marine-grade fittings manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA DWG 803-6397430 for use in copper nickel piping systems aboard naval vessels, commercial ships, offshore platforms, and seawater handling installations. These precision-machined fittings form an essential part of a union assembly and are designed to connect with matching threadpieces and bronze union nuts, allowing convenient assembly, maintenance, and disassembly of piping systems without disturbing adjacent pipework.
Manufactured from high-quality 90/10 Copper Nickel (UNS C70600 / C96200), union tailpieces provide outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, erosion, impingement attack, and marine biofouling. These characteristics make them particularly suitable for demanding saltwater environments where long service life and reliability are critical. The fittings are supplied with 400# socket weld dimensions in accordance with the drawing requirements and may also be produced to customer-specified configurations where required.
