Bronze Union Nuts are precision-engineered threaded fittings manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA DWG 803-6397430 for use in marine and offshore copper nickel piping systems. These fittings are specifically designed to be used with 90/10 Copper Nickel Threadpieces and Tailpieces to create a complete and secure union assembly for critical seawater service applications. Manufactured from high-quality bronze materials conforming to ASTM B61, QQ-C-390, and MIL-B-16541 specifications in grades Alloy C90300 / C92200, the union nuts provide excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and long service life in demanding marine environments.
The bronze union nuts are supplied with accurately machined internal threads to ensure secure engagement, reliable tightening, and leak-proof performance under high-pressure operating conditions. Their durable construction allows easy assembly and disassembly during maintenance and repair operations commonly required in naval, offshore, and shipbuilding piping systems. These union nuts are compatible with 400# socket weld union assembly dimensions and can also be supplied as per customer requirements.
